about
This song was written as a cathartic expression of the physical, psychological, and emotional abuse my sister and I suffered when we were young. The house filmed in this video was the actual house we lived in during this traumatic and terrifying time in our lives. All the images you see are meant to either express fear or safety. My sister and I would like to add that if you or anyone you know are currently experiencing the fear and anguish caused by domestic abuse, you are not alone and there is help available and you must seek help immediately, no one deserves to live like this. We have included in this description the link and telephone number for the National Domestic Violence Hotline and we will be donating 10% of all the proceeds to the The National Domestic Violence Hotline. While this video is free to watch on YouTube as much as you want, if you'd like to buy the song, it's $1 (or more if you desire) over at itheconflict.bandcamp.com and remember that 10% of each purchase will be going to The National Domestic Violence Hotline. Or if you'd like to enjoy the free song, but donate directly to the organization you can do so via the provided link. Again, I stress to you, if you or anyone you know is living through this, do not hesitate to call and seek help. Things can and will get better, you deserve love, and we love you already.
